Charles Hay Elementary School

Charles Hay Elementary School is located in Englewood, Colorado, an older and smaller suburb of the Denver metropolitan area. The school has an enrollment of approximately 250 wonderful children in the 2008/2009 school year. We made our first visit to this school on October 21st, 2008 and were met by some cheerful kindergarten through
fifth graders.

"The first Alyssa Cares Foundation book distribution was so exciting for our students! They couldn't wait to sit down and start reading. The quality and variety of the collection of literature was excellent, and many of the volunteers that helped the students make their selections were also kids who could make personal recommendations about the books. What a wonderful day! Each student will treasure their new, very own book."
